Alda E. Harris

Alda E. Harris, 99, of Millville, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Grandview Health Care of Danville. She was born August 18, 1913 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Laurence and Laura J. Rake Hill. She attended Jerseytown Schools and spent most of her life in the Jerseytown area. She worked in the maintenance department at the Bloomsburg Hospital also worked at TRW in Danville for many years. She is a member of the Jerseytown United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband Joy Henry Frey who passed away in 1952 and her second husband Thomas B. Harris who passed away in 1985, a son Paul L. Frey, two sisters Martha Engle and Leona Ewing, two brothers Harold Pifer and William Jones. She is survived by four sons Darwin J. Frey wife Cheryl of Elizabethtown, James E. Frey wife Connie of Northumberland, and David W. Frey wife Pam of Buckhorn and four daughters Patricia Watts of Millville, Eulalia and her husband Robert Morris of Milton, Ella Mae and her husband Robert Weaver of Bloomsburg and Harriet and her husband Edward Jenkins of Norwich, NY and twenty five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren Graveside services will be Wednesday 10.00 A.M.at Jerseytown Cemetery, with Pastor Allen Acor officiating. .
