Ann G. (Giering) Ritter

Ann G. Ritter, 69, of Orangeville, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at her home. She was born June 1, 1943 in Ashland, Pa, a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Giering. Ann graduated from Frackville High School in 1960 and then the Bloomsburg State Teachers College in 1964. She then taught elementary school at Central Columbia and Benton School District, retiring June 2002. She then worked as a substitute for Benton School District. Ann enjoyed trail riding her horses and camping throughout Pennsylvania, Virginia and New York. Ann is survived by her husband Ward Ritter, they were married May 24, 1964 at the 1st Methodist Church in Frackville, a son Lee Edward Ritter of Orangeville, a brother Robert Giering of Reading, Pa and two sisters Betty Heal of Ephrata, Pa and Diane Bodnar of Coatesville, Pa.
