Audrey Virginia Whitmoyer

Audrey V. Whitmoyer, 83 of Bloomsburg, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Bloomsburg Health Care. She was born June 19, 1929 in Columbia County, a daughter of the late Troy Rishel and Violet Rider. She attended Jerseytown Schools. She enjoyed gardening, reading, horses and animals of all kinds. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Ira F. Whitmoyer who passed away August 12, 2011 and a sister Marjorie Shimp. She is survived by two sons James Whitmoyer and his wife Judy of Muncy, William Whitmoyer of Berwick and a daughter Sharon and her husband Larry Meek of Bloomsburg, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a half brother Larry Kishbaugh of Stroudsburg. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville, with Reverend Nathan King officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
