Barbara J. (Webb) Gordon

Barbara J. Gordon, 79, of Espy, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Bloomsburg Hospital. She was born January 1, 1932 in Montour County, a daughter of the late Franklin and Rachel Hippenstiel Webb. Barb is a member of the Lighstreet United Methodist Church. She enjoyed helping with and attending church events, baking, going to family sporting events and picnics, helping with and spending time with close friends. Prior to her retirement in 2000, she was a pharmacy technician at Eppley's and CVS. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Gordon who passed away December 20, 1994 and her step-father Marlyn Pensyl. She is survived by two sons Dennis F. Gordon and his wife Joan of Northumberland and Robert W. Gordon and his wife Nancy of Bloomsburg and six grandchildren: Brian Gordon, Kyle Gordon and his wife Christine, Kara G. Seesholtz and her husband Kirk, Erica Krum and her husband Joseph, Jonathan Gordon and Kevin R. Gordon, six great grandchildren: Ky and Koy Seesholtz, Zachary, Jason Gordon, Timothy and Jennifer Gordon and two brothers James Pensyl of Mechanicsburg and Robert Pensyl of Lightstreet. Services will be Monday at 11:00 am at Lightstreet United Methodist Church 1640 Main St. Bloomsburg, with her Pastor Jennifer Parks-Snyder officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park.
