Barbara Moore

Barbara D. Moore, 83, of Jerseytown, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 9, 1930 in Jerseytown, a daughter of the late Harry and Iola Stackhouse Rider. She graduated from Jerseytown Schools. She was a member of the Jerseytown United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler at Midway Lanes. She worked at Roselawn Yarn and Country Maid both in Danville. She was preceded in death by her husband W. Richard Moore who passed away May 4, 2006 and a son Paul E. Moore and four brothers Charles, Joseph, James and Ralph Rider and four sisters Edna Brown, Laura Earnest, Betty Crawford and Margaret Rider. She is survived by a daughter Judy and her husband Larry Confer of Bloomsburg and two sons Robert W. Moore and his wife Donna of Bloomsburg and Harold H. Moore and his wife Millie of Jerseytown and ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Services will be Friday at 10:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville with her Pastor Bill Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc.
