Beverly Ann (Parsons) Bitler

Beverly Ann Bitler, 83, of Millville passed away Sunday November 13, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by her family. She was born June 9, 1939, in Muncy, a daughter of the late James B. and Estella Mabel (McMichael) Parsons Sr.

She graduated from Muncy High School. After graduation she worked at Carey McFall’s in Montoursville, then ILC in Millville while raising her children. She then went to Milco for several years, Ames Department Store, and retired from M&T Bank as a teller. After retiring she worked for Artisan Pools and for her son as a secretary at Bloom Glass and Mirror. Bev was a member of Pine Center Church, and the Methodist Women’s Society. She enjoyed baking, cooking dinners for her family, and spending time with her husband and grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her husband Eddie Bitler, whom she married April 5, 1958, three children; Debra Libby husband William of Millville, Bradley Bitler wife Lori of Millville, Brent Bitler wife Diane of Berwick, 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, sister Jeannie Bitler husband Don of Arizona, and her aunt Florence “Tuttie” Bowman of Williamsport. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, brother James B. Parsons II, infant sister Helen Parsons, son-in-law Greg Deets, aunt Lillian Senseman, and nephew Jeffrey Parsons.

Graveside services will be Friday November 18, 2022, at 11:30 am at Pine Center Cemetery with Beverly Farr officiating.
