Bradley Rishel Sr. Obituary
Bradley D. Rishel Sr., 72, of Bloomsburg passed into Heaven on Monday December 30, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born May 21, 1947 in Danville, a son of the late Donald and Ruth Carol (Geiser) Rishel.
He graduated from Millville High School class of 1965. Brad worked at Girton's Manufacturing for 10 years and then at AC&F Industries of Milton, PA where he retired after working for 32 years as a welder. Brad loved farming and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and spending time on his farm. He also had a passion for cooking, military history, and drag racing including antique cars. His best companion in his latter years was a black lab, "Buddy". He was a member of Foot Of The Cross Church, Millville.
Bradley is survived by his wife the former Sandra Diehl, whom he married July 31, 1965, three children; Lori Ann Sanford husband Kevin of Chalfont, PA, Bradley D. Rishel Jr. wife Melinda of Danville, Suzanne Rishel of Millville, seven grandchildren; Nathan Bradley Sanford, Tyler Evan Sanford, Kurt Bradley Rishel, Carra Marie Rishel, Kaitlan May Anderson, Rylie Kay Hall, Kagan Ryder Hall, and three brothers; Greg Rishel wife Kathy of Bloomsburg, Doug Rishel wife Cathy of South Carolina, and Lance Rishel wife Keylee Swalm of Allentown.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents as well as his grandson Kyle Ellsworth Sanford.
Services will be Sunday January 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with his pastor, Pastor Paul Dauenbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday January 5, 2020 from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
