Carol M (Tanner) Sones

Carol M. Sones, 55, of Bloomsburg passed away on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by her family. She was born May 29, 1970 in Danville, a daughter of the late Paul and Delores (Shipe) Tanner.

She graduated from Columbia Montour Vocational High School. Carol worked at Weis in Bloomsburg. She enjoyed making ceramics, going to Cats in Bloom with her friend from work, getting Bubble Tea, going to tractor pulls, and watching Penn State wrestling.

Carol is survived by her husband Timothy Sones, whom she married June 5, 1999, and two brothers: William Tanner of Allentown and Scott Tanner of Selinsgrove.

Services will be Tuesday February 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with Mike Woolcock officiating. Burial will follow at Jerseytown Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
