Charles Reifendifer Obituary

Charles D. Reifendifer Sr., 69, of Millville, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Grandview Health Homes. He was born November 14, 1941 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late James and Mary Butz Reifendifer. He attended Bloomsburg School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a life member of the Millville American Legion Arthur Bardo Post 564 and the Bloomsburg V.F.W. Post 804. He also belonged to the Sheriffs Association and the Rod & Gun Club. He was preceded in death by three brothers James Reifendifer who passed away 1963, Francis "Babe" Reifendifer who passed away 2004 and Lloyd Reifendifer who passed away in 2009. He is survived by a son Charles D. Reifendifer Jr. of Bloomsburg and a daughter Vickie and her husband Andrew Palko Berwick, two grandchildren Tyler Hendricks, Hunter Palko, and his former wife Carol Earnest and three brothers George Reifendifer and his wife Barbara of Millville, Richard Reifendifer and his wife Karen of Bloomsburg and Thomas Reifendifer and his wife Deborah of Millville and four sisters Renna and her husband Max Crawford of Bloomsburg, Rose Stackhouse of Millville, Judy and her husband Laszlo Balla of Bloomsburg and Joan Kline of Orangeville. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville, with his brother-in-law retired Pastor James Kline officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society 1111 Old Berwick Rd. Bloomsburg, Pa 17815.
