Christopher Wayne Belford, 57 of Bloomsburg PA, unexpectedly ended his earthly journey on November 6, 2023 at the home of he and his wife.

Born on May 4, 1966 in West Chester PA. He was a 1985 graduate of Coatesville high school. Chris was a well-known and a valuable part of the Whippets football team in Downingtown, PA from the age of 8. He played well into high school with several acknowledgments of his performance in the local newspaper.

Chris was a welder by trade and worked at many companies throughout the years with his most recent employment at Tioga mill Rights.

Chris was a charismatic person who still had much to give as he was looking forward to traveling with his wife, playing with his grandchildren and nephews, the upcoming holiday seasons, exploring, and building his home and family into his golden years.

His deepest passions were for his wife, his puppies (that he trained well to do many tricks), and the many children in his life. He enjoyed 4 wheeling, watching nascar racing, working around the house, working on vehicles of all kinds and spending time with his family and friends.

Christopher is proceeded in death by Maternal grandparents Theodore and Dorothy Werner of Downington, PA, Paternal grandparents John and Alice Belford of Pittsburg, PA, his father Randy L. Belford, stepfather Gary L. Doratt and his stop son Brandon Burns of Bloomsburg, PA (son of Chirstine Belford) and mother in law Janet Mensch of Millville, PA.

He leaves behind a deep sadness for all those who loved him including his wife of 12 years, Christine M. Mensch Belford of Bloomsburg, his mother Mary Lou Doratt of Shillington , PA,  sister Connie Fickes of Shillington, PA, Brothers Matthew Belford of West Chester, PA and Brent Belford of Delaware,  Father in law Ronald Mensch (partner of Rose Kirby) of Dushore, PA, Brother in law Jefferey Mensch (husband of Holly) of Dushore, PA, Sister in law Donna Gordner (partner of Ed Mckeown) of Bloomsburg, PA, his son Justin Belford of South Carolina, his two step sons Bryan Burns (wife of Maggie) of New York and Tylor Burns (partner of Nichole Petrone) of Bloomsburg, PA, grandchildren Lucus, Maddy and Emma Burns of New York, Christopher Petty and Adriana Petty of Berwick, PA, Oliver Burns and his sisters Kendyl and Emersyn  Biesadesky  of Bloomsburg, PA, niece Brooke Figorski (wife of Eric) of Tamaqua, PA a nephew Andrew Fickers (husband of Sarah) of Belgrade, Montanna, and  great nephews Aiden, Remington and Liam.

Due to Chirstopher’s vast network of family and friends; a small intimate gathering will be held in the immediate area of his recent home town on Saturday, November 18th and another will be held at a later date near his childhood home town.
