Connie E. Hunter-Maurer

Connie Hunter-Maurer, 63, of Catawissa passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1948 in Danville, a daughter of the late William and Katherine Davis Hunter. She graduated from Central High School in 1966. She worked at the Bloomsburg Hospital where she was a materials management. She was a member of the Bloomsburg Hospital Auxiliary and she was a former Elket wife with the Bloomsburg Elks. She is survived by her husband Daniel Maurer with whom she married April 30, 1990 and a brother Ronnie W. Hunter and his wife Janet of Orangeville and a niece Nicole Kimmel and a nephew Douglas Hunter. Services will be Friday at 10:00 am at Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home 435 Market St. Bloomsburg. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Friends unable to attend may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com
