Connie (Williams) Sones

Connie Williams Sones 74, of Millville, went to be with the Lord, Thursday October 21, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Connie was born March 29, 1947, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late, Edward and Stella (Whitmoyer) Williams, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, two brothers Rick and Raymond Williams.

  Connie attended Millville Schools and retired from Magee Carpet in 2010. Connie’s #1 love is God, but just as important to her was her family. She enjoyed baking with her great granddaughter Emily, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping and buying for the ones she loved. Connie enjoyed Antiquing and searching for something shiny to catch her eye. Connie enjoyed going to lunch with her four retired Co. workers, she and her husband enjoyed going out Fridays nights for dinner with friends. She was a member of Mill-Green United Methodist Church.

Connie is survived by her husband Denny G. Sones Sr; whom she married on June 26, 1965, three children, Denny G. Sones Jr. and his wife Nancy, Tim Sones and his wife Carol and Tammy Sones three grandchildren, Heather Roeder and her husband Dylan, Amanda Sones and her fiancé Josh Jesperson and Kelsey, a great granddaughter Emily Hayes. Also, by three siblings, Sheldon Williams and his wife Leah, Marjorie Minier and her husband David and Shirley Eickelberger, two sister in-laws, Nancy Williams, and Jenny Williams.

In keeping with Connie’s wishes, services will be private, with burial at Elan Memorial Park Bloomsburg. Family and friends wishing to send online condolences to the family may go to bunnellfuneralhome.com.
