Connie Ruth (Beagle) Wright

Connie Ruth Wright, 80, of Bloomsburg, formerly of Millville, passed away on Friday May 31, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born May 21, 1944, in Bloomsburg, daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Robbins) Beagle.

She graduated from Millville High School and JoMar School of Cosmetology in Bloomsburg. She was a hairdresser and owner of Connie’s Hair Design in Millville. Connie enjoyed music where she played in many local bands, including the Country Lakers and The Relatives, where she played the guitar, keyboard, and sang. She belonged to Kingdom Hall in Mifflinville. She liked going to carnivals to listen to local bands, cooking, and collecting hats.

Connie is survived by two children; Terry L. Wright (Gail) of Millville, Trisha R. Bevans (Stephen) of Danville, four grandchildren; Johnna, Amber, Nina, and Cora, two great-grandchildren; Liam and Marcella, and brother Dale Beagle (Ann) of Millville.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents as well as great-granddaughter Francesca, and two sisters Lois Glidewell and Leona Johnson.                                                                                     

A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall, 1014 West St., Mifflinville. Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com.
