Dean L Blue

Dean L. Blue, 76, of Orangeville Pa; went to be with the Lord, Friday March 5, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1944, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Woodrow and Marie (Whitmoyer) Blue. 

Dean attended Millville schools and worked as a machinist. He  was a member of the Greenwood Christian Church. He enjoyed working in his yard,
gardening, raising Bees, fishing, working on cars, tractors, and lawn mowers.  Dean loved spending time with people and just conversing. He especially loved his dog Brutus.

Dean is survived by his two daughters, Laura Gemberling and her husband Donald of Bloomsburg, Donna Whitenight and her husband Robert of Orangeville, three grandchildren; Addi Gemberling, Jonathon Bruce Whitenight and Bailey Gemberling. As well as two brothers, Donald Blue of Millville and Tim Blue of Hughesville, two sisters, Kaye Blue of Orangeville and Vivian Brown and her husband Larry of Unityville. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife the former Eleanor Knarr who passed away January 9, 2019, and two brothers, Douglas and Dale Blue.

Services will be Friday March 12, 2021 at 11:00 am, at the Greenwood Christian Church, 92 Eagle Rd. Orangeville Pa. 17859, with his Pastor Michael Lyons officiating, and Pastor Mark Stoker assisting. Burial will follow at Greenwood (Lemons) Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till time of service at the Church.
