Dennis D. Zeisloft, 65, of Millville passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born in Muncy on June 18, 1956 to Charles and Doris (Walters) Zeisloft.
He graduated from Millville High School in 1974 and has resided in the Millville, PA area majority of his life. His primary occupation was with The JM Smucker Company of nearly 43 years.
Dennis was an outdoor enthusiast enjoying great opportunities through hunting, fishing, and sightseeing. He enjoyed hunting with hounds, and he loved a chase hearing the dogs work a trail, running foxhounds in his early years, coonhounds, and beagles. He hunted the big woods of central PA out of the family cabin, White Hall Hunting Club, this property was special to him as ithas rooted the family tradition since 1917. He enjoyed the water as much as the woods and grew up trout fishing, spending time on the Susquehanna River chasing those fight crazy smallmouth bass and local ponds in the evening for a great topwater bite. He dreamed of fishing far off waters and often went on fishing trips. Often times he would share his knowledge with coworkers and offer baits to them during the workday that he would have in his lunch bucket so they could enjoy an evening of fishing.
Dennis is survived by his two children, son Jonathan and wife Laura with granddaughter Hannah of Berwick, daughter Amanda with grandsons Jaxon and Trae of Berwick; three sisters: Jan Dildine and husband Carl of Jerseytown, Bobbi Jo Andreas and husband Tom of Bloomsburg, Jill Johnson and husband Donnie of Rohrsburg; two brothers: Edward and wife Jamie of Millville, Monty and wife Jennifer of Unityville; stepmother Gail (Fisk). Missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father and brother Mark.
