Dennis "Pork" L. Young

Dennis “Pork” L. Young, 52, of Benton passed away Monday January 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 20, 1969 in Benton, a son of the late Bruce and Sandra (Zimmerman) Young.

He attended Benton School. Pork worked for Litwhiler Turkey Farm in Benton, and for his father at Young’s Disposal Service until he purchased the business in 1994. Pork enjoyed going to tractor pulls, figure 8 racing, going to auctions, hunting and gun raffles.

Pork is survived by five brothers and sisters; Ricky Lee Zimmerman, and his wife Dianne M., Millville; Patty Ann Young-Hovranko, Stillwater; Donna Mae Young, and her fiancé Jamie H. Davis, Turbotville; Steven Junior Young, and his wife Rhonda L., Bloomsburg; and Kathy Marie, wife of Michael L. John, Orangeville, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday February 5, 2022 at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville from 10:00 am until noon. Burial will follow at Derr’s Cemetery.
