Dorothy J. Lumbard

Dorothy J. Lumbard, 70, of Benton, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at her home. She was born September 10, 1940 in Conshohocken, Pa, a daughter of the late Allen and Annabell Edkin Davis. She attended Sullivan County Schools. She is a member of Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed camping and attending church functions. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harry Swank who passed away in 1968 and her second husband Robert Lumbard who passed away in 1995 and a son John Swank and three sisters Joyce Marie and Rose Mary Davis and Katherine Swank. She is survived by a daughter Jen and her husband David Moser of Benton and five sons Harry Swank and his wife Bonnie of South Williamsport, Randy Swank, Gary Swank and his wife Janet, Earl Swank and his wife Denise all of Hughesville and Timothy Briggs of Benton, twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, a brother Allen Davis of Unityville, Barb Miller of Antes Fort, Pa and Gloria Bassinger of Lock Haven, Pa. Services will be Thursday at 5:00 pm at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville, with her Pastor James Boik officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Friends unable to attend may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com.
