Elva J (Hess) Eyer

Elva J. Eyer 82, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Brookdale Bloomsburg. She was born September 2, 1936 in Orangeville, a daughter of the late Ruric and Angie (Beishline) Hess.
Elva was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School class of 1954. She drove School Bus for 25 years, and farmed with her husband for many years. She and the Eyer family have run the French Fry stand at the Millville Fireman's Carnival for over 40 years. Elva and Buddy lived in Florida for many years. When they would come back they would stay at Shady Rest Campground in Eyersgrove. Elva was a member Millville Christian Church and served on the Millville Pool Commission.
She is survived by, three children; Lynette and her husband Steve Fisk of Bloomsburg, Ronnie Eyer and his wife Cheryl and Randy Eyer and his wife Candy both of Millville, nine grandchildren, Royce Eyer, Matt Eyer, Ashley Price, Jesse Fisk, Bryon Eyer, Amanda Eyer, Jennifer Eyer, Vicki Stafford, and Rebecca Eyer, and fifteen great-grandchildren. As well as two sisters, Esther Shaffer of Carlisle and twin sister Elsie Raup of Lancaster.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Eyer who died on May 15, 2017, daughter Lori Eyer, grandson Colton Eyer, and four brothers; Sheldon, Allen, Zender and Arden Hess.
There will be a celebration of her life on May 18, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Shady Rest Campground, 119 Eyersgrove Rd, Millville, PA 17846. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Millville Cemetery.
