Evelyn L Gordner

Evelyn L. Gordner, 89, of Unityville passed away Tuesday August 30, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born December 7, 1932, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Bert and Emily (Robbins) Gordner.

She graduated from Millville High School class of 1950 and worked at Milco. Evelyn enjoyed cooking in concession trailers at fairs and sales. She was a life member of Gordner’s Church.

Evelyn is survived by daughter Christine Kitzmiller and husband Edwin, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-greatgrandchildren, and two sister’s Elva Whitmoyer husband Richard and Louise Jordan and husband John, and a brother Fred Gordner.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Carl Gordner who passed away September 2009, two sons: Ronald Marvin Gordner in 1955, Earl Gordner in 1995, daughter Carlene Cole in 2016, sister Linda Minier, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be Saturday September 3, 2022, at 11:00amat Gordner’s Church, Gordner’s Church Road Unityville, with Pastor Diane Bubb officiating. Burial will follow at Gordner’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
