Florence E. Watts, 79, of Millville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, with family by her side. She was born April 30, 1943, in Montour Township, a daughter of the late George and Lois Marie (Reese) Ploch.
She attended Exchange School and Turbotville School. Florence worked at Benton Shirt Factory until it closed. She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, picking tomatoes, going to bingos, working on the family farm, picking corn with her DADDY, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved taking care of her goldfish.
Florence is survived by five children: Jimmy E. Watts (Ruth), Randy G. Watts, Robert L. Watts, Laura M. Watts, Daniel E. Watts (Leslie); six grandchildren: Jackie Gross (Michael), Jill Frey (Gordon), Susan Myers, Sasha Myers (Katelyn), Shane Myers, Johnny Watts; and seven great-grandchildren: Rylinn McHenry, Haylee Myers, Jayce Myers, Ruby Musselman, Emily Gross, Alivia Gross, and Alexis Gross; as well as five siblings: Martha Orlaski, Quentin Ploch (Judy), Julia Shepherd (RJ), George Ploch, and Faith Wright (George).
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband, Henry (Hank) Watts, who passed away March 30, 2014; brother, Brady Ploch; sister, Mary Snyder; granddaughter, Brittany Watts; great-granddaughter, Brinsley Myers.
Services will be Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville, with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Center Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
