Florence "Flo" Elizabeth Evert

Florence “Flo” Elizabeth Evert, 88, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Dec. 30, 2022, at the Gardens of Orangeville.

She was born Aug. 11, 1934, a daughter of the late Arthur B. and E. Kathryn (Stauffer) Evert.

She graduated from Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1952, Bloomsburg University in 1973, with a Bachelors degree in elementary education, and from Marywood College in 1977, with a Masters degree in social work. Flo worked as a family therapist for Family Services in Warren. She enjoyed teaching Bible studies, reading her Bible and painting was her special joy.

Flo is survived by her brothers: Dale of Bloomsburg, and Harry of Excelsior, Minnesota. Also surviving are two nephews and a niece, along with several great-nephews and nieces.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
