Frances A. Morgante

Frances A. Morgante, 68, of Danville, passed away at her home Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She was born February 21, 1943 in Shamokin, a daughter of Geraldine F. Keating Sage and the late John L. Sage. She attended Shamokin Schools. She retired from the Danville State Hospital. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Danville. Frances enjoyed doing volunteer work at local charities, and going to lunch on Tuesday with the girls she retired with. She also enjoyed going to yard sales, cooking, classical movies, traveling, holidays and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband Salvatore R. Morgante who passed away September 12, 2001. She is survived by one daughter Judy Schasheck of Danville and three sons John Morgante and his wife Tammy of Pottsville, Samuel Morgante of Williamsport and Anthony Morgante and his wife Kelly of Bloomsburg, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mass will be Saturday at 12:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church 18 Center St. Danville, Pa 17821, with Father Steve Fauser officiating. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
