Francis E. Engel

Francis "Doc" E. Engel, 83, of Millville, passed away with his family by his side Monday, December 10, 2012 at his home. He was born January 7, 1929 in Pine Township, a son of the late Frank and Martha Young Engel. He attended Millville Schools. He drove truck for Girton Manufacturing and then for Kline Trucking and after retiring he hauled cars for Swartz Salvage Yard. He enjoyed working on cars, going to auctions and yard sales. He also enjoyed building various things. He was preceded in death by a grandson Rick Mohr, a son-in-law Jack Swank and two half-sisters Clara Noe and Mary Mackey and a half-brother Samuel Engel. Francis is survived by his wife the former Ina Ball with whom he married August 31, 1949 and three daughters Mary Ellen Swank, Patricia Ann Mohr and Sandy K. Taylor and her husband Tate and a son Nyman L. Engel and his wife Angela all of Millville, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
