Frederick L Beck

Frederick L. Beck, 69, of Millville passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2023, at his residence. He was born on November 1, 1953, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Richard and Janet (Knouse) Beck.

He graduated from Benton High School in 1971. Fred worked at PP&L for twenty years before retiring. He was a son at the Millville American Legion Post 564. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and most of all going to car shows with his 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint.

Fred is survived by two children: Frederick Beck Jr. and girlfriend Ryan of Benton, Tara Hewes and her husband Jason of Orangeville, four grandchildren; Summer and Paris Hewes and Dalilah and Keyaira Beck, and two sisters; Sheila Schu husband Thomas of Shunk, and Brenda Young husband Shawn of Bloomsburg. Also, four stepbrothers, William, Stephen, and Gregorey Zenyuk of Woodbine N.J. and Joseph Zenyuk of Watertown N.Y.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife the former Darlene Miller who passed away on September 14, 2018, and stepfather, William Zenyuk.

Services will be Tuesday August 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with Mark Messner officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am till time of service at the funeral home.
