Georgie Marie (Bacon) Moore

Georgie Marie Moore, 92, of Bloomsburg passed away on Wednesday March 11, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on April 22, 1933 in Millville, a daughter of the late Elisha and Elsie (Bardo) Bacon.

She attended Millville schools and worked at Decorator Industries in Berwick. Georgie loved watching General Hospital, going to flea markets, working in her flower beds, and having family picnics.

Georgie is survived by four daughters; Rose Walton of Millville, Betty Conner husband Jim of Benton, Christine Fosse husband John of Millville, Nancy Sones husband Denny of Millville, 10 grandchildren; Shane Walton, Tasha Seely, Jack Kyttle Jr., Angelia Smith, Shaun Hill, Kenny Aikey III., Monica Laubach, Dan Conner, Heather Roeder, Mandy Sones, 20 great-grandchildren, and eight great-greatgrandchildren. As well as her sister Betty Koser.

Georgie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her first husband Wilbur Brown, who passed away in 1978, second husband Michael Moore, who passed away in 2022, daughter Joyce Kyttle, four sisters, and three brothers.

Services will be Friday March 20, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
