Eudora "Dodie" Roadarmel, 93, of "Turkey Hill" Bloomsburg passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1919 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late John Frank and Mamie Gilpin Beagle. She graduated from Scott School in 1937. She had worked at Milco and then at Columbia Montour Vo Tech. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, flowers and gardening, dominoes and going to watch grandchildren and great grandchildren's events. She belonged to the Columbia County Homemaker's where she served as president and the Lightstreet Garden Club. She also helped with registration for elections in Lightstreet. Eudora is one of the oldest members of the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ where she sang soprano in the choir for over fifty years, she also sang at numerous weddings. She taught Sunday School Classes and was involved in the Pollyanna Class, Women in Mission, the Dominoes gang and the Columbia County Christian Women's. She was preceded in death by her husband Bowman P. Roadarmel Jr. who passed away in 2007 and a brother Ralph Beagle. She is survived by a daughter Helen and her husband Wayne Laidacker of Bloomsburg and two sons Glen Roadarmel and his wife Jeanne of Orangeville, Jack Roadarmel and his wife Karen of Bloomsburg, thirteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren, two sisters Diane Coulombe of Atlanta, Georgia and Dorothy Croker of Cheyenne, Wyoming. A memorial service will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11:00 am at Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ 260 E. 7th St. Bloomsburg, Pa 17815 with her Pastor Steven Engelhardt officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Friends unable to attend may send condolences at bunnellfuneralhome.com.
