H. Joseph Lyons 88, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord Saturday July 17, 2021, at his residence.
Joseph was born April 16, 1933, in Madison Township, a son of the late Joseph E. and Mae (Crossley) Lyons.
Joe was a graduate of Millville High School. He was a farmer most of his life, he and his wife owned the Lyons Den Dairy for over 50 years. He was a member of the Eyersgrove United Methodist Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years, and he enjoyed watching it.
Joe is survived by his wife, the former Betty Eyer, whom he married on March20, 1954, a daughter, Linda Dent, and her husband John of Orangeville, three sons, Richard Lyons and his wife Cheri of Bloomsburg, Joseph M. Lyons and his wife Angela of Millville and Terry Lyons and his wife Cindy of Orangeville, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Also, by a brother Douglas Lyons and his wife Candy of Bloomsburg.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Jerseytown Cemetery.
