Harvey L Davis

Harvey L. Davis 75, of Danville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday May 3, 2023, at his residence.

He was born February 26,1948, in Danville, a son of the late Melvin and Edna (Lawton) Davis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by nine siblings: brothers William, Joseph, Robert, and sisters, Norma Wodrig, Sarah Davis, Donna Sheehan, Martha Erlson, Jean Koser, and Rose Davis.

Harvey attended Danville Schools and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He belonged to the Danville Moose Lodge 1133. Harvey owned his own plumbing business for many years. Harvey enjoyed hunting, but most of all spending time with family.

Harvey is survived by his wife, the former Diana McCracken whom he married on November 11, 1967, daughter Kimberly Testa and her husband Christopher of New Cumberland, two sons, Greg Davis and his wife Jessica of Danville, Gary Davis and his wife Deborah of Paxinos, three grandchildren, Cailee, Noelle, and Kyle, and three sisters: Shirley Mordan and her husband Charles, of Norristown, Evelyn Ryan and her husband Frank, of Mt Carmel, and Linda Heddings husband Gary of Northumberland.

Services will be Monday May 8, 2023, from the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc. 179 East Main Street Millville Pa. 17846, at noon, with Pastor Mary Schmotzer, of the Shiloh United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery Danville. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
