Helen "Bebe" (Faus) Shaner

Helen “Bebe” S. Shaner, 87, of Bloomsburg passed away on Friday December 1, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born August 7, 1936, in Muncy Valley, a daughter of the late Harmon and Hildra (Phillips) Faus.

She graduated from Sonestown High School. In her younger years, Helen graduated from Beauty School in Williamsport and operated her own beauty shop for many years and, she helped run a pig farm with her husband. Helen last was employed as a housekeeper from which she retired . Bebe loved baking, cooking, and collecting snow babies. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Helen is survived by her loving husband Carl A. Shaner, whom she married April 21, 1962, two daughters; Diane Shaner of Millville, Michelle Brown husband Levi of Stillwater, six grandchildren; Josh Shaner (Ashley), Tim McWilliams (Ashley), Matt McWilliams (Maddie), Summer Kuratle (Austin), Levi McWilliams (Kendra), Billy Cirafici, and four great-grandchildren; Trevor and Owen Shaner, and Nova Kuratle and Beau Kuratle.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Charlie Faus.
