Isabel M. Hack, 87, of Jerseytown, passed away on May 1, 2026, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation, Danville where she had been a resident since September 2022. She was born March 29, 1939, in Union County, the daughter of the late Palmer L. and Grace (Herrold) Beaver.
For many years Isabel worked as a talented seamstress for Milco and Lady Esther Lingerie. She was a devoted member of the Strawberry Ridge United Church of Christ in Danville and found great joy in helping with church functions. Isabel truly loved the outdoors, whether she was gardening at home, vacationing at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland, or fishing with family and friends at Chesapeake Bay in Delaware. Above all, she cherished time spent spoiling her grandchildren sharing her love with her family’s golden retrievers.
Isabel was preceded in death by her husband James A. Hack, in 1988, an infant daughter Sandra Hack, and son Gary E. Hack.
She is survived by her son Todd A. Hack wife Angie of Jerseytown, two grandsons, Landon Hack, Braeden Hack, and great-grandson Keenan Snyder.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses, at PO Box 150, Millville, PA, 17846. Any remaining funds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association and other charities and organizations close to her heart.
Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com. The Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., Millville is handling arrangements.
