James P. Miller, 88, of Millville passed away Monday July 19, 2021, at Gardens at Orangeville. He was born September 12, 1932, in Spring Dale, PA, a son of the late Gilbert A. Miller and Clara Wilson Young.
He attended Millville High School and then joined the Air Force serving during the Korean War. He worked and retired from Kawneer. He also operated Miller Electrical for a number of years. James was a member of the American Legion Post 564. James was a resident of Pine Township since 1954.
James is survived by his daughter Anna Rider of Millville, daughters-in-law; Kathy Miller of Millville, Lavi Miller of Hazelton, Lila Miller of Arkansas, sister-in-law Neva Ball of Danville, daughter-in-law Jan Dildine, seven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his wife the former Erma Ball, who passed away October 29, 2008, three sons: Larry J. Miller, Wayne J. Miller, Dennis Miller, great-granddaughter Adisyn Rider, brother Gilbert F. Miller, sister Dorothy Hassel, and daughter-in-law Lynette Miller.
