James "Jim" Keller Obituary

James “Jim” F. Keller Jr., 71, of Bloomsburg (Lightstreet) passed away after a long illness on Friday January 13, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Berwick on June 26, 1951 he was the only son of the late Frank and Velma (Reeder) Keller. He was a 1969 graduate of Central Columbia High School and attended Williamsport Area Community College for 1 year.
Jim worked as a truck driver for Wise Potato Chips for 28 years, earning his 2 million mile award. Upon his retirement, he opened Jim’s Gun Shop in Lightstreet.
He was a member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church; the Lighstreet Community Fire Co.; Little Fishing Creek Rod and Gun Club; Orangeville Sportsman’s Club; and Oriental Lodge #460. He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, and most of all spending time with family.
Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Kay Keller (formerly Dent), they celebrated 51 years of marriage on August 14, 2022; three children: Jennifer Rohrer and her spouse Barry, Paxinos; Jamie Tingley and her spouse Jeremy, Benton; James F. Keller III. and spouse Melissa, Laporte; four grandchildren; Tori and Levi Tingley, Camille Rohrer, and Benjamin Keller; sister Debbie, wife of Gary Bower, Bloomsburg; along with a number of nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents as well as two sisters; Sondra Bower and Brenda
Robinholt.
Private services will be held at the Lightstreet United Methodist Church, with his pastor, Pastor Becky Cuddeback, officiating. Masonic memorial services will be conducted by Oriental Lodge #460. Interment will follow in Lightstreet “Highland” Cemetery.
