Jason "Jake" B Bangs

Jason (Jake) B. Bangs, 41, of Danville passed away Thursday October 21, 2021, at his in-law’s residence surrounded by family. He was born January 7, 1980, in Bloomsburg, a son of Keith Leighton and Diane (Fisher) Bangs of Orangeville.

He graduated from Millville High School class of 1998 and worked at Smucker’s in Bloomsburg. Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles.

Jason is survived by his parents as well as his wife the former Kathleen “Kathy” Gaughan, whom he married May 28, 2011, three brothers: Joseph Bangs wife Jana of Berwick, Joshua Bangs wife Amanda of Millville, Jared Bangs of Orangeville, and sister Johanna Stanley husband Justin of Orangeville. As well as his maternal grandparents Jack and Connie Fisher, paternal grandfather Don Bangs, in-law’s Donald and Kathleen Gaughan of Millville, two sister-in-laws; Christina Gaughan fiancé Eric of Millville and Sarah Drost husband Joe of Northumberland, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Jake was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Lois Bangs.

Services will be Saturday October 30, 2021, at 5:00 pm at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
