Jerry "Sam" Carl

Jerry (Sam) Carl 58, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord, Monday November 6, 2023, at the Geisinger Medical Center Danville. He was born June 26, 1965, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Jimmy Carl Sr. and Sarah (Weaver) Carl.

He graduated from Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School Class of 1984 and worked for Milco Industries for over 20 years. Jerry enjoyed playing guitar, writing songs, wood working, and built many clocks over the years.

Jerry is survived by his daughter Bethany Carl of Hazelton, two brothers Jimmy Carl Jr. of Bloomsburg, Danny Carl of Stillwater, and special friend Darlene D. Mueller of Bloomsburg.

A celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 18, 2023, at 11:00am at the Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home, 435 Market Street Bloomsburg with Deacon Patricia Millar officiating. The burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
