Jill M. (Gordner) Deihl

Jill M. Deihl, 72, of Orangeville passed away June 9, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born August 1, 1948 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Kessler) Gordner.

She graduated from Millville High School class of 1966 and then attended business school in Harrisburg. Jill worked at Girton Manufacturing, then her and her late husband Rick owned and operated Deihl Vault and Precast Inc. in 1971 until his passing in 2011. She also worked at the Bloomsburg Courthouse in the treasurer’s office, until retiring from the Millville High School Human Resources Administrative Office in 2019.

Jill was a member Christian Gospel Fellowship Church, and an auxiliary member of Arthur Bardo Post 564. She enjoyed farming, gardening, mowing her grass, and watching her kids and grandchildren play sports.

Jill is survived by two sons; Michael Deihl wife Faith of Orangeville, Matthew Deihl wife Brooke of Millville, four grandchildren; Karley Deihl, Kirstyn husband Colton Albertson, Kyle Deihl, and Olyvia Deihl.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Richard Deihl who passed away January 1, 2011.

Services will be Saturday June 12, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Christian Gospel Fellowship Church, 2938 PA-42, Millville, PA 17846 with her pastor, Pastor Paul Converse officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of service at the church.
