JoAnn (Hock) Brosius

JoAnn Brosius, 69, of Danville passed away on Monday June 17, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born February 4, 1955, in Danville, a daughter of the late Donald and Alice (Runyan) Hock.

She graduated from Millville High School. JoAnn worked at Gold Star Nursing Home and Buckhorn Truck Stop where she was a cashier.  She was an auxiliary member at the Millville American Legion Post 564. She enjoyed needle point, riding motorcycle with her husband, dancing, and being a grandma.

JoAnn is survived by her husband Charles Brosius, whom she married May 1996, daughter Desiree Hess of Bloomsburg, stepdaughter Bridgett Brosius husband Matt Mikolaichik of Sweet Valley, PA, three grandchildren: Josilyn Rose Savidge, Collin Michael Savidge, Hayden Charles Mikolaichik, and sister Priscilla Jean Blass of White Hall, PA.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents as well as sister Judy Shingara.

Services will be Thursday June 20, 2024, at 11:00 am Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with Pastor Mark Messner officiating. A burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
