Joan A Daro

Joan A. Daro, 75, of Orangeville, went to be with the Lord, Thursday February 17, 2022, at the Geisinger Medical Center Danville.

She was born January 3, 1947, in Long Island N.Y., a daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Meyer) Fleichhauer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Daro who passed on July 21, 2004, and two sisters, Ruth Guido and Doris Malecki.

Joan attended schools in Long Island. She especially loved horses and dogs and was a dog groomer for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Joan is survived by her two daughters, Kelly Doninetz of Drums and Lori Rankin with whom she lived with, four grandchildren; Carrie Pierontoni, Cody Eshleman, Brandon Rankin, and Lona Doninetz, nine great grandchildren, and brother Richard Fleichhauer and his wife Patricia of Long Island.
