Obituary
Joel E. Sobolesky, 72, of Mifflinville, PA, passed away Thursday June 29, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on March 19, 1951, in Shamokin, PA, a son of the late Bernard S. and Ramona Polomski Sobolesky.
He graduated from Southern Columbia High School, and he was a manager in retail sales. Joel was a social member of V.F.W. Post 804 Bloomsburg, a social member of Mifflinville Fire Co., he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his pets.
Joel is survived by two daughters, Misty Sobolesky of Catawissa, PA, and Megan Sobolesky of Benton, PA, eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and sister Ramona Flight and her husband Joseph of South Carolina.
Joel was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Etta (Fisher) Sobolesky, and a daughter Kelly J. Roberts
Graveside Services will be Monday July 3, 2023, at 10:00am at Mifflinville Cemetery, with Pastor Martin Parr officiating.
