John A Billig

John A. Billig, 56, of Hughesville passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 9, 1964 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Mark and Helen (Mengine) Billig.
He graduated from Millville High School Class of 1982 and attended Pennsylvania College of Technology for carpentry. John worked at Brodart Co. building furniture. He enjoyed playing video games. He loved the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a quiet and gentle man.
John is survived by four siblings, Michael Billig of Hughesville, Lana Billig of Kingsport, Tenn., Steven Billig and wife Judy of Millville, and Michelle Woolcock and husband Mike of Millville; as well as five nieces and nephews, Melissa Billig, Amber Bardo, and Marissa, Megan and Matthew Woolcock.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday March 6, at 4 p.m. at Rohrsburg Christian Church, 635 Rohrsburg Road, Orangeville, PA 17859 with his brother-in-law, Mike Woolcock, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends at the church from 3 p.m. until time of service.
