John R Greising

John R. Greising Sr., 65, of Bloomsburg passed away on March 4, 2025, at his home. He was born January 6, 1960, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Richard and Edna (Houser) Greising.

He graduated from Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech and then joined the United States Army serving from 1977 until 1980. He worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. John enjoyed tinkering with motorcycles, fishing, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, and caring for his cats. He was an animal lover who would always take in the strays.

John is survived by three children: Nicole Henderson, husband, James of Bloomsburg, John Greising Jr. of Shamokin, Brandy Greising of Bloomsburg, three grandchildren, two brothers: Jesse Greising wife Roxanne of Bloomsburg, George Greising wife Stephanie of Zions Grove, and two sisters: Gretchen Michael husband Ed of Nuremberg, and Becky Lescowitch of Shepton. As well as his best friend Lenny of Bloomsburg. 

John was preceded in death by three brothers, William, James, and Richard Greising Jr. and his beloved dog BabyGirl.

Graveside services will be Saturday May 17, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com.
