Jon P. Lawton

Jon P. Lawton, 85, of Millville, passed away on Tuesday Aug. 5, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born February 12, 1940, in Iola, a son of the late Ryland and Lois(Parker) Lawton.

He graduated from Millville High School. He was a truck driver and drove over two million miles. He was a Mason, Millville volunteer fireman, and he enjoyed golf.

Jon is survived by three sons: Brad Lawton and wife, Barbara, of Lewisburg, Shawn Lawton and wife, Cathy, of Downingtown, Mark Lawton of Downingtown; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter, one brother, James Lawton, wife, Mary, of Berwick; and companion, Robyn Phares, of Millville.

Services will be Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville, with Pastor Mark Messner officiating.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
