Judith A (Engleman) Boone

Judith A Engleman went to be with the Lord Monday March 24, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her daughters. She was born on December 21st, 1936, in Noxen, PA. She was the 2nd eldest of 7 siblings. After graduating from Lake Noxen High School, she married Jerry Boone and enrolled in Wilkes Barre General Nursing program where she graduated with her RN degree. Judy and Jerry moved to Eyersgrove and purchased the first of many nursing homes, where she worked as the RN, cook, and administrator all while raising three children, Michele, Micheal, and Lisa. In her free time, Judy enjoyed drawing with pastels, golfing, and gardening. She was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter BK, Northern Star, and Mill-Green United Methodist Church. Her grandchildren, Dylan and Grace Boone, were her pride and joy. Dear to her heart were many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Ethel Kresge and William Engelman; brothers, Dale Engleman and Barry Engelman; sisters, Rosemary Rifenbery and Sharon Bryan;  and her son, Micheal Boone. She is succeeded in death by her sisters, Carol May and Sheila Hamersky; daughters, Michele Boone and Lisa Boone; and grandchildren, Dylan Boone and Grace Boone. 

Viewing will be held at the Mill-Green Methodist Church on March 28th from 2:00-4:00 PM, followed by a short service. Friends and family are welcomed to join the family at Boonie’s Iron Horse Farm afterwards for fellowship.
