June S. (Sueppenheiser) Boyer

June S. Boyer, 88, of Bloomsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1923 in Mifflinville, a daughter of the late Clark Sweppenheiser and Wanda McGaw Harvey. June graduated from Mifflinville High School in 1941. She owned and enjoyed operating Boyer Oil Service with her husband from 1952 until his passing in 1986 and then she help operate until 2011. She was active in the former Espy Women Civic Club and was a past president. June enjoyed working, going out to eat, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband G. David Boyer. June is survived by a son Wayne D. Boyer and his wife Dianna of Bloomsburg, a grandson Brent Boyer of Bloomsburg and a granddaughter Bree and her husband Theodore Bunnell of Orangeville and two close friends Betty Laubach and Pat Conrad. Services will be Monday at 2:00pm at Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home, 435 Market St., Bloomsburg. Burial will be at New Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of services.
