Keith Pealer Obituary
Keith R. Pealer 91, of Bloomsburg and formally of Orangeville, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday July 30, 2019 at the Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center Bloomsburg.
Keith was born March 8, 1928, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Fred and Leah (Hartman) Pealer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Martha (Moore) Pealer, who passed April 15, 2015, and sister Sceva Laubach.
Keith was a graduate of Benton High School Class of 1944, after high school he enlisted in the Navy, were he received the Purple Heart. After the service he worked for Yellow Freight which he retired from in 1989, and also worked for Penn-Dot. Keith also was a member of the Teamsters. He spent entire life in Columbia County.
Keith is survived by a daughter Dorothy Disidoro of Bloomsburg, three step- daughters; Kay Deaner and her husband Frank of Lebanon, Carol Deeter of Catawissa, Jane Hopper and husband Robert of Bloomsburg, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and two great- great grandsons. As well as sister, Elda Whitenight of Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at 2:00pm from the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc. 179 East Main Street Millville Pa. 17846, with Pastor Ryan Reigh officiating. Burial will follow at Jerseytown Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1:00 pm till time of service at the funeral home.
