Kenneth A. Kremer, 77, of Benton, passed away Saturday, April 09, 2011 at his home. He was born June 13, 1933 in Milton, a son of the late Edwin and Maude Hendricks Kremer. Ken graduated from Danville High School in 1952. After graduating high school he joined the United Stated Air Force. He was employed at TRW and then worked at Merck where he retired after thirty-five years. He has been a member of the Shiloh United Church of Christ for over fifty years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and watching baseball, his favorite team is the Phillies. He was preceded in death by a brother Dale Kremer. Ken is survived by his wife the former Nancy J. DeWald, with whom he married October 13, 1957, and a daughter Linda S. Kremer of Benton, and two sons Jay A. Kremer of Danville and Drew A. Kremer of Benton and a brother Edwin Kremer and his wife Viola of Milton. Services will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc. 179 E. Main St. Millville, with Rev. Mary Schmotzer of Shiloh United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
