Lavona Grace Miller

Lavona Grace Miller, 93, of Bloomsburg, passed away March 15, 2013 at Bloomsburg Hospital. She was born May 8, 1919 in Berwick, a daughter of the late LeLand and Beryl Beagle Miller. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1937. She has been a member of the Westly United Methodist Church for eighty-two years where she taught Sunday School for twenty-two and a half years and she also sang in the choir and took care of the alter flowers, she also belonged to the Crusaders Sunday School Class. She worked at Beers Electric for forty-two years and has been at her present address for fifty seven years. She was preceded in death by two brothers Edwin E. Miller and Max B. Miller She is survived by a sister in-law Elizabeth Miller of Bloomsburg and a niece Gwen Nicholson of Lakewood Fla. and nephew Gary Miller of Bloomsburg Pa. A memorial service will be Tuesday April 2 at 3:00 P.M. at Creveling Cemetery, Old Berwick Rd., Bloomsburg, with her Pastor Gary Weaver officiating.
