LeRoy Clarence Titman Jr.

LeRoy Clarence Titman Jr., 67, of Danville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. He was born Oct. 22, 1954, in Fort Bragg, N.C., a son of the late LeRoy Clarence Sr. and Shirley (Hunsinger) Titman.

He graduated from Central Columbia High School and joined the United States Army for two years. LeRoy was a member of Hendrickson Zion United Methodist Church, Danville. He enjoyed working on cars, going go-cart racing, and hunting.

LeRoy is survived by two sons: LeRoy Titman of Danville, Landis Titman, wife, Jovita, of Cunningham, Tenn.; four siblings: Sherry Ortman, husband, Dave, Cindy Heaps, husband, Ted, Robert “Bob” Titman, and Michael Titman; and three grandchildren: Lucinda, Lillyann, and Trace Titman. 

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents as well as two wives: Linda Johnston and Marjorie Comrey.

Services will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville, with Pastor Dwayne Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Hendrickson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
