Leann M (Andes) Barnes

Leann M. Barnes, 59, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Leann was born Nov. 11, 1964, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Martin and Sandra Andes.

Leann was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1982, and started working for the Press Enterprise in Bloomsburg, then went to work for Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, and was working for Walmart in Buckhorn, at the present time. Leann enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Leann is survived by her four children: Wyatt M. Barnes of Bloomsburg, Andra M. Sipsky and her husband, Chris, of Swoyersville, Dalton Barnes Henricks of Bloomsburg, and Korbyn Barnes of Bloomsburg. Also survived by four grandchildren: Alivia, Avery, Skarlett, and Thea; a brother, Raymond Barnes; and two sisters: Amy Hunter and her husband, Michael, of Numidia, and Deewaynea VanBlarge of Bloomsburg.

A Celebration of life will be held, Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home, 435 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Mark Messner officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.until the time of service.
