Lena L. Beaver

Lena L. Beaver, 82, of Danville passed away on Monday August 23, 2021 at Bloomsburg Health Care and Rehabilitation. She was born October 4, 1938 in Catawissa, a daughter of the late Earl and Lucy (Kreisher) Beaver.

She attended school in Catawissa and worked at Eminee Shirt Factory until it closed. She was a member of Roaring Creek Grange #2041, Numidia Grange, and Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. Lena loved to quilt and put puzzles together.

Lena is survived by three nephews; Paul Snyder and wife Sharon of Danville, Earl Snyder and wife Debra of Catawissa, and Donald Snyder of Catawissa.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister Alice Snyder and niece Mary Crane.

Services will be Monday August 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home, 435 Market St., Bloomsburg with Pastor David Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
