Lillie Johnson Obituary
Lillie Mae Johnson, 84, of Millville passed away July 9, 2019 at the Gardens at Millville. She was born April 27, 1935 in Greenwood Township, a daughter of the late Stanley E. and Estella (Eckroth) Knorr.
She attended Millville High School. Lille Mae and her husband Loren owned and operated East End Sub Shop, as well as Johnson Produce Market in Iola. After selling she drove bus for many years for Fishing Creek and Rhinard Transportation. Lillie Mae was a member of Mill-Green United Methodist Church.
Lillie Mae is survived by three children; Bradley Johnson wife Martie of Millville, Brenda Craig husband Jeffery of Millville, Beth Smith husband Steven of Lake Meade, PA, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and sister Katherine Kennedy of Alaska.
Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Loren T. Johnson, who passed away October 31, 2018, six brothers; Cecil Watts, Raymond Knorr, Doyle Knorr, Stanley Knorr, Donald Knorr, and Claude Knorr, and five sisters; Florence Whitmire, Ethel Williams, Geraldine Bitler, Flora Lyons, and Marie Dawn Knorr.
A memorial service will be held Saturday August 17, 2019 at 11:00 am at Mill-Green United Methodist Church, S State St & Walnut St, Millville, PA 17846 with her pastor, Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Millville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be sent to Mill-Green United Methodist Church, PO Box 470, Millville, PA 17846.
